KHALID BEKKAOUI is Professor of English at Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah University, Fez, Morocco. He is the author of Signs of Spectacular Resistance (1998) and editor of George Peele's The Battle of Alcazar (2000), and Imagining Morocco (2008).
